Program: This presentation provides an understanding of why your voice matters for clear communication, what aspects of your voice are under your control, and most importantly, how to use it effectively. Vocal habits of upspeak and off voice, among others, can undermine our credibility, clarity, and impact without us realizing it. Discover the vocal techniques that help you connect you to your audience while reading aloud. Enjoy the exploration of operatives and prosodic choices to add even more suspense, mood, and character detailing for your listeners as you share your stories.
