Denver Woman’s Press Club Unknown Writers’ Contest Deadline March 31, 2012
Do you know of an aspiring writer who might like a lift on the road to writing success? Maybe that writer is YOU! Here’s how entering the Denver Woman’s Press Club Unknown Writers’ Contest will help:

Cash prizes to winner and two runners up in each category of fiction, nonfiction and poetry. Writers, cash. Enough said.
Every entry receives a written critique from the judges who are professional writers in that category. That alone is worth the low entry fee.
A champagne reception at the DWPC historic clubhouse honoring entrants and winners. It’s uplifting, inspiring, and great networking.
Tell your book club! Are you a member of a book club? If so, please submit the name of one person in your group who is willing to pass along the information about the 2012 UWC to your book club members. Please send ASAP that person’s name, e-mail address, snail address, book club name (if there is one) and a phone number to: Nancy Foster, nrfgypsy.

· Categories are fiction, nonfiction and poetry.
· Entrants may be men or women over 18 and must not have been professionally published (for pay) for their work. And they may not have won First Place in the 2011 contest.
· Entry fees: $25 per entry for fiction, $25 per entry for nonfiction and $15 for up to three poems
· Deadline is March 31, 2012
Entering or spreading the word about the Unknown Writers’ Contest is a simple and easy way to encourage those who love to read and write. And who knows, one day you might find yourself at the National Book Awards!
