Northern Colorado Writers Conference

The 6th Annual Northern Colorado Writers Conference is March 11-12, 2011 at the Fort Collins Hilton with this
year’s theme, Passport to Writing. The conference caters to writers of
all levels and genres by offering over 30 workshops taught by industry
professionals on topics like creative nonfiction, fiction writing,
social media, nonfiction and digital publishing.

Participants can also sign up for one-on-one agent/editor pitch
sessions, shop in the bookstore, and meet other writers during meals and
other networking times. A Passport unlocks destinations, allowing you to
see and experience new places. The goal of the 6th annual Northern
Colorado Writers Conference is to do the same for your writing.

A participant from the 2010 event commented, "You can put on one
wonderful conference. I sat next to a man at lunch who said he’d been to
lots of writers’ conferences in Colorado and this was the best. I agree.
Every speaker was great. I love the atmosphere in the room when it is
full of writers. There isn’t any other experience like it."

Northern Colorado Writers is partnering with Book Trust for this event.
$7 from every conference registration will be donated to Book Trust, a
nonprofit agency that allows qualifying children to choose and purchase
books each month through Scholastic Book Clubs.

Conference fee includes all meals, the VIP party on Friday evening,
workshops, pitch sessions, and an in-depth pre-conference workshop on
February 26 where the director will share how to get the most out of
your conference experience. Visit
