Celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Bloomsbury Review

We were full of experiments and reforms . . . we were going to paint; to write . . . Everything was going to be new, everything was going to be different. Everything was on trial. . .

This is how Virginia Woolf described the Bloomsbury Group—artistic and literary friends, relatives, and lovers who worked as hard as they played to change their own lives and the life of art and literature in Victorian England.

On Sunday, October 17, 2010, 7 p.m., poet and artist Dorothy Kiljan shares her exploration of the “Bloomsberries” with a presentation entitled: The Women of Bloomsbury/Art and Friendship, at West Side Books. 3434 W. 32nd Ave. Denver.

This event is a fundraiser for The Bloomsbury Review, celebrating and supporting literature for thirty years. Seating limited to 35. Reservations required—call 303-455-3123. $12.00 donation at the door. Refreshments served.
