Free “Investigative Business Journalism” workshop

Friday, March 6, 2009, the Denver Press  Club will host a free “Investigative Business Journalism” workshop all day, under the auspices of the Donald W. Reynolds National Center for Business Journalism, from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Arizona State University.

The program covers the detection of red flags in public and private company financial documents and the techniques involved in investigative business journalism research and reporting.

Presenters include James Gentry, professor and former dean of the School of Journalism at the University of Kansas, and Alec Klein, best-selling author and award-winning investigative business reporter formerly at The Washington Post and now professor of journalism at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
