Call for Judges – Top Hand Awards

by

Each year, Colorado Authors’ League members produce some of the very best writing in the West. Since 1931, a significant mark of professional achievement for Colorado authors has been the peer recognition of a Top Hand Award from CAL. Winners will be honored at the Awards Banquet in the Spring in Denver.

Won’t you join us as a judge in the 2009 Colorado Authors’ League Top Hand Awards? You don’t have to be a CAL member to be a judge.

CAL is looking for contest judges for the preliminary and final rounds of the Top Hand Awards. Complete information, as well as a Judge’s Application, is on the Colorado Authors’ League website at http://coloradoauthors.org/Site/CalAwards.php<http://coloradoauthors.org/Site/CalAwards.php> Anyone interested in serving as a judge in any category (other than a category you are entering), may also contact Christine Goff, CAL Awards Chair at 303-393-1846 or chris@christinegoff.com<

mailto:chris@christinegoff.com>.

Judges’ work will be concentrated during March and April. This is a great opportunity to spend some dark, chilly evenings reading Colorado’s best while you’re giving back to the Colorado writing community.

Thank you for considering the Colorado Authors’ League Top Hand Awards.
